  • Capital D has acquired a stake in GoWish to help scale its AI-driven wishlist service and expand its merchant network internationally.

🏦 About Investors

  • Amsterdam-based Keen Venture Partners is raising $128.5 million for Benelux’s first defence tech fund to support 20-25 startups in the defence and security sector, focusing on dual-use technologies in European NATO countries.

  • Siena Secondary Fund has launched its $51.4 million Fund II focusing on high-growth scaleups in the CEE and select Nordic regions to provide liquidity solutions and support expansion.

Founded in 2017 by Victor Riparbelli, Steffen Tjerrild, Matthias Niessner, and Lourdes Agapito, Synthesia’s AI-powered platform enables enterprises to create videos using AI-generated avatars for marketing, training, and customer support. With over 60,000 customers, including Amazon and Johnson & Johnson, the funding will drive R&D and global expansion across North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia, as the company competes with Big Tech and startups in the rapidly growing video generation sector.
